Wasps!?
Most Sunday evenings we spend at my parents, enjoying great food and fun times.
This past sunday was unique, Dad had noticed a few too many wasps had an interest in the kayak hanging in the carport.
We have a video of what followed. It requires Quicktime. Also note that sound is quite key to enjoying the video.

What would Lord Stanley think?
His cup is doomed to another summer where 1 in 1000 people might be able to tell you what a zamboni is. A summer of hanging out on the golf course. A summer of travelling to the surrounding small towns only to be put on display in some lame strip mall.
oh well, GO VANCOUVER '07!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would only be right for the 'nucks to bring the cup home to Canada next year.

How's this for you? Coldplay... Live...
I'll tell you how it was.
It was the most earth shattering, shiver generating, APPSolutely brilliant piece of art!
That description was so riveting, I think I could review concerts for the newspaper. If the Times Colonist Entertainment Editor happens to read this, I will be looking for a job in January. Just look past my horrible spelling. Phonics never worked for me, spell checker did! hahaha...
ANYWAY, back to my story, tonight we hit up the Coldplay concert at Earl's Court. It was not comparable to any other concert I have seen in my lifetime. It is a must see event for everyone in this world. For all of you west coasters, they are playing GM Place on January 26. And, Fiona Apple is opening! How could you go wrong! We had some knob (in my humble opinion) open for us. So, maybe I have to go in January just to see Fiona. I strongly recommend, whatever age category that you fall into, that you go buy tickets. NOW! Buy me a ticket too! hahaha, I'll pay you back when I find a job. I could watch that concert many times over again. They are so great. Amazing really. COLDPLAY FOR PRIME MINISTER! hahaha...
They have a new single, "Talk", that they played tonight. It is pretty good and don't think it is released yet. You can download it starting Sunday, and it is live from our show. Check it out!
Oh, and we forgot our camera at home tonight... So, you will have to close your eyes and use your imagination. We may try to ninja someone else's photos off the web to add to our collection for fun. But, we may also decide to be lazy. So, don't wait up.

We wanted to make a post devoted to comments. So, if you are reading this, click the comments button at the bottom of this text and post a comment. That way we can stay motivated on keeping the site updated. It doesn't have to be anything brilliant, just let us know that you are diligently reading our site! hehehe... We would be soooo happy to hear from you. Maybe let us know how the weather is... Or how the hockey season is looking... Or how your WoW guild is doing... If you can't think of anything, just sign your name and post "hi"... Anything!

Welcome to Powell River!
Well, we left Victoria today, spending some time in Powell River with the Monahan family before heading off on our trip. I think it is really starting to sink in, for both of us, that we are actually going away.

As we were doing some shopping today, at the Powell River Walmart, we saw this, I figured it summed up PR in a picture. Note the angle of the boat trailer.
We'll be spending the next 6 days here, leaving this Saturday. After this week, we'll post the pictures of our time here.
