8 Months - Almost Mobile
Our eating is a real adventure. After a little bit of a rough start because of being sick, he has become a decent eater. I love cooking new things for him and he seems to enjoy every thing I throw at him. To list off a few of his fav gourmet meals:
- Leek, potato and peas.
- Creamed spinach and broccoli with tilapia.
- Sweet potato, butternut squash with pork.
- Honeydew melon and banana.
- Beef stew puree.
Hungry now? haha. We are also working on finger food. Rice crackers, toast and cheerios is all that I have really tried. He does pretty well with the crackers and toast but isn't too good with the cheerios yet. Most of them fall on the floor for the dog to clean up. Dogs and babies have a great symbiotic relationship. Because of the lack of teeth, I'm still afraid to try a lot of things. He was seriously amused by some ribs we were eating so I let him have a bit of a chew. Check out the pictures. Vegetarians beware! hehe. We are on a pretty good eating schedule. Some days it feels like all I do is feed him but we're having fun doing it.
Trav and I have been having a great time with our new espresso machine. Our newest hit is ice cream and chocolate sauce topped off with a shot of espresso. If you're in the neighbourhood stop by and we'll whip up a treat!
Oscar is... still growing. 48 pounds and counting! Although the rate of growth has slowed dramatically which makes me happy. We are in puppy training at the moment and we haven't been kicked out of the class yet. So all is good.
